hush little baby
She didn't actually cry once, but she was WIDE AWAKE until the very end... 2 hours of very awakeness without one fuss seems pretty amazing for a 7 day old babe, I thought!
She is just beautiful, like her brother. It was fun, I got to try to repeat a couple of the images I had taken of her big brother when he was born over 4 years ago.
Here, brother is a little concerned that she is going to try to eat... to me it just looks like she thinks this whole thing is hilarious.

the most beautiful day in November
Never really would have imagined we could get such a beautiful November (LATE November at that) morning. We met at 9 am and as I was driving out, I couldn't believe the beautiful light and that my car thermo was reading 42 for an outdoor temp!
What a fun shoot! The family of course is adorable and the location they picked was SO great (thanks grandpa and grandma for letting us come by!).

Family of 5
Such a sweet family.
This spunky teenager was so good with her younger siblings, and also lots of fun - this hazard sign series turned out so cute!

Sisters and cute boots
Here are the boots... I might be obsessed with them, and I surely wish they came in my size !
Beautiful, both of them.
Big sister - such a sweet girl. She is very interested in photography, and my camera - so of course I loved talking about that with her! She said she preferred to be on my end of the camera, (me too sweetie!) but she sure came out great on the other end - don't ya think!
And this little one, holy moly, she cracked me up. I usually just follow little ones like this around, and snap as they do their cute little things. To do so, I often have to get into some precarious positions. If you have ever witnessed me shooting, you can agree that at the end of a session I typically have more grass stains than the grass.

Well, this little cutie-pie copied me. If I sat to shoot, she sat - and looked at me. If I laid down to shoot, she laid down - and looked at me. That, coupled with the cutest little fur boots EVER, made for some really fun shots!

ARRRRR matey!
Shiver me timbers, I LOVE that me hearties brought the little lad's Halloween costume for a photo or two. Props are so much fun, and can really bring out little one's personalities!
I have been taking this little guys photos since he was still a bun in the oven... he is a little charmer and I love that I get to keep taking his pictures! The best news is that very soon, he will have a little brother or sister! I can't wait!
Another GREAT prop - this hat is little man's grandpa's - cute AND meaningful!
